Leadership & Instructor Training

Leadership and Instructor training are essential in martial arts because they ensure that skill is matched with responsibility, character, and the ability to guide others. Strong leaders set the tone for discipline, respect, and safety, while well-trained instructors know how to teach effectively, motivate students, and adapt to different learning styles. Together, leadership and instructor training help preserve the integrity of martial arts, develop confident role models, and create a positive, structured environment where students can grow both on and off the mat.

Instructor Training

Below is a list of Instructor Training Dates. Students who have completed the pre-course are under-going an Instructor Level course are required to attend.

Sempai Mitch

Assistant Instructor

Sempai Mitchell started training at the age of 5 in 2011. He holds a first-degree black belt. Whilst at karate he enjoys practising weapons and other XMA forms.

Outside of the club Sempai is a first lieutenant in the CFA juniors’ program.

Sempai loves being an instructor because not only can he help other students grow in their martial arts journey, but it also helps him progress as a better person and student. Something that motivates him in his training is the friends that he has made in my many years of training, they are always there to help and support him.
